Sunny Lofton is the Director of Student Support Services for a school district. He has coached an array of sports for over 30 years. He played basketball for over 10 years, ran track for 10 years and played football for over 13 years. He was an All-American
student-athlete (wide receiver) at Peru State in Nebraska. Sunny has six children. The youngest two are currently student athletes at Folsom High School.
Here is Sunny’s coaching philosophy:
“When it comes to youth sports, my philosophy is simple. Our jobs as coaches should be centered around progressing the student athletes to their potential. This means we work hard to coach EVERY student athlete, every practice and every game. We need to make sure that the only way a student athlete doesn't progress to their potential by the end of the season is if they don't show up to practice. I value purposeful participation and progressive instruction in practices. I believe in preparing the student athlete for the next level of competition. I also teach, endorse and promote good sportsmanship and good citizenship”.
Coach Providence is an 25 year veteran at the United Parcel Service. He has coached and trained youth for over 15 years. He was a body builder and played football for 8 years including 2 years at the University of Utah.
Here is Coach Providence's training philosophy:
"EVERY athlete can learn, grow and make progress in their sport. When you get your body and mind right, it is easier to pick up techniques that will take you to the next level. The younger we start that process, the faster the growth."
